Psych Out With Your Bike Out is a multicity event created specifically
for the bike communities across the country. The series seeks to empower and
unite these communities while promoting the causes of the Village Bicycle Project - a non-profit organization seeking to
provide transport infrastructure and water-purification systems to struggling villages in African countries.
Entrance to the festival will be free provided that you come there on a bike and/or bring a bike to donate. All donated bikes and additional proceeds from other activities will be used to benefit the Village Bicycle Project in which bikes are fixed and outfitted with water purification devices and then sent to African villages. Day-long events will feature live musical performances, DJ sets, free and secure bike parking, complimentary bike tune-ups and numerous other bike-related activities.
Pre-event bike rides will be organized in each city culminating at each event. These rides will also be used to raise money to both support the VILLAGE BICYCLE PROJECT as well as local programs within each target city.
